Detroit Muffler & Brakes has been on East 8 Mile in Warren for more than 25 years. We are right on the Detroit line, so we have always been a shop for both sides of the road, city drivers and suburb drivers, work trucks and daily commuters.
We built this place on exhaust and brakes, the two things that get loud, get dangerous, and get expensive if you let them go. Over the years we added the rest, suspension, diagnostics, AC, electrical, so the people who trust us with their brakes can trust us with the whole car.
The way we work has not changed. You get the price before we start. If you do not need a repair, we tell you. Most of our business still comes from someone pointing their neighbor to the shop on 8 Mile, and that is the only kind of advertising we have ever really needed.
